Bandu N. Pamadi is a senior aerospace engineer at NASA Langley Research Center. He was a German academic exchange fellow at the University of Stuttgart from 1973-1975 and an NRC-NASA Research Associate at NASA Langley from 1981-1983. Before returning to NASA Langley in 1986, he was a professor of aeronautical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He holds degrees from Karnatak University, the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Purchased the book thinking it actually can show you advanced features and provide examples of advanced PFSense configurations. This book offers no additional instruction beyond what you already receive from a simple google search of PFsense basic setup instructions.

This book isn't worth the price and there is nothing in it to make you a "master" of PFSense. Buyer beware.

Wonderful history, very well written and spiced up by interesting personal tidbits and anecdotes that keep the reader's attention. Very complete reference list for those needing additional original data. The prehistoric and very early historic section are excellent and his work on ancestry especially good. I only wish this had been the history book of Scotland that I had in school 60 years ago. I am a great fan of Alistair Moffat and although living more than 5000 miles away I feel I have a front row seat at the Battles of Stirling Bridge, Bannockburn and Culloden.

About the Author

Christopher L. Kukk, Ph.D., is a professor of political science and social science at Western Connecticut State University; founding director of the Center for Compassion, Creativity and Innovation; and faculty advisor for the University and City of Compassion initiatives. He is also cofounder and CEO of InnovOwl LLC, a research and consulting start-up for solving micro and macro problems through innovative education. He was an international security fellow at Harvard University’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, a counterintelligence agent for the United States Army, and a research associate for Cambridge Energy Research Associates. He lives in Brookfield, Connecticut.

A must read for educators

This points points the the critical nature of teaching kids Emotional Intelligence in our schools. The
studies done (many) on teaching kids Social and Emotional intelligence are overwhelmingly positive.
If we want a more peaceful productive world this is the path to take.
