A useless book for recycling

this is a book totally useless. It tells you nothing! 1. I doubt the author is from Germany because I got big language problem when trying to understand the sentences. The author loved to make long sentences which confused me all the time. 2. The author just tells you what SAP can do, this is absolutely not what I want. People can learn this from newspaper or review or advertisement. what people want to know is how to use SAP or how to implement, install it. actually the book tells nothing. 3. the quality is bad. I got a book, of which 200 pages were printed in Yellow paper, 100 pages were printed in grey paper. The index on each page of chapter 17 was printed as "chapter 18". 4. I am totally disappointed. now I know why SAP is difficult to learn, the reference book made so!

A massive tome that fails to live up to it�s billing.

This book is useful for two things: introducing neophytes to R/3 , and as a book end. Special Edition Using SAP R/3 is one of those volumes that is so bulky that it will look impressive and hold your other books in place. Readers who do not know SAP will learn enough about R/3 to understand the basic functions and architecture. If you have already decided to implement R/3 and have any background with the system, even if only an introductory course, skip this book. You will find it incomplete. If you know nothing about SAP feel like skipping the demos and spending a good portion of a hundred bucks get this book. If you need to fill four inches of bookshelf this volume will do it.

Good Title... This book is BASIC

This is a college level textbook for complete beginners in the field of Real Estate and specifically Real Estate Appraisal. As such, it gives a nice overview of the profession and of appraisal techniques and not a whole lot more. To get more in depth to the level of feeling professionally competent, you will need to add on with other books and classes. But this is a very good start.

I don't know why colleges use this book as a required textbook. This book is DEFINITELY not a good book for someone who is new to real estate apraisal. The book did't explain things very clear especially some very important things like "Highest and Best Use". There are some other book that explain the real estte concepts better than this one. You definitely will not pass the real estate appraisal exam if you only read this book

A must read for anyone wanting to achieve financial freedom

Pete Wargent's "Get a Financial Grip" is one of those books I wished I'd read 10 years ago. Granted, I'm only 28 now, but the information and steps outlined in the book is so simple and easy to understand that at 18 I'm sure I could have comprehended it and put it to good use!

It is refreshing to read a book that outlines the exact strategy that the Author undertook to achieve financial freedom at 33. There's no gimmicks or implication of purchasing other products, it just gives good old fashioned advice, which if implemented will help the reader achieve success over time.

Trevor Cairney is Director of CASE, Master of New College and Professor of Education within the faculty of Arts and Social Science at the University of New South Wales, Australia. He has written 9 books and over 150 refereed articles and book chapters across the fields of education, early learning, language development and (more recently) public theology.

David Starling lectures in New Testament and Theology at Morling College, Australia. He is the author of Not My People: Gentiles as Exiles in Pauline Hermeneutics (2011) and a number of journal articles and book chapters on biblical exegesis and theological hermeneutics.

About the Author
Victor Klemperer (1881-1960), a front-line veteran of the First World War, became Professor of French Literature at Dresden University. He was taken from his university in 1935 because he was Jewish, and only survived because of his marriage to an Aryan.

Must read!

This is a fantastic book that bears many readings. It is taken from Klemperer's diary during and after the Nazi abomination. He investigates the way the Nazis abuse the language. It also has its humorous side as well. This guy is a brilliant, perceptive writer and social critic.

A must read for any student of the era

Kempler's relationship with the Nazis, how it changes etc., is similar to that of many many others. The value in this is his insight to the Nazis through their use of language. Anyone that prides themselves in being politically correct, thinking it to be a positive thing, should read this and see just how it was used by the Nazis. Kempler started, early on keeping, a list of "new" meanings. One of the first terms he recorded ----"protective custody". See what I mean.

This book was well written. I enjoyed reading this in as much as you can enjoy a tale of this nature. I am amazed at the author for coming through this awful situation with such a determination to not be as his family. As for the other reviews, the word that one of the reviewers was picking on...IS A WORD. You should read this book, you won't regret it.

Amazing Read!! A Must Read and Share!

I would like to thank the authors for writing and sharing this amazing and uplifting series of books. I was able to share the series with both my fourteen and eleven year old sons. These books helped me to reconnect with my spiritual life that I must admit had fallen into a slump. The story of the Wormling and his journey guided by the words of the King reminded me of God's great love, grace and mercy towards me. I pray that God will continue to bless you both and continue to gift you with words and ideas for more books that will inspire and uplift as this series has done for me and my children.

An Excellent Read.

I choose this book (this 5 book series) to read because it was written by one of my favorite authors. He did not disappoint me. I especially liked when quotes from the "Book of the King" was used to make a point. I would recommend it to the young and old reader alike, as I am one of the old. I read all 5 Books in less than 5 days. I don't usually do this but the books were that good...I just HAD to know the ending.

Perfect end to the best series!

This is an AMAZING series full of action and truth. Do not read this book before reading the others in this series. I love the meaning behind everything as you see it come together. This series is good for any book lover. I don't get tired of reading them. I don't want to spoil it, though, so I won't say any more. Great job, Jerry B. Jenkins and Chris Fabry, and thank you for your hard work on my very favorite books ever!
